Quarken 27 T-Top – Motorboat Awards Winner

We are honoured to announce that the Quarken 27 T-Top has won the prestigious Motorboat Awards in the category “Sportsboats up to 30ft”. The award was announced on the 24th of January 2023 during the Düsseldorf boat show In Germany.

The Motor Boat Awards is hosted by Motor Boat & Yachting and sponsored by Side-Power, the awards are judged purely on the boats’ design, ability, and value for money in their chosen marketplace. Every boat nominated for the award must go through an exhaustive sea trial process just to be considered for the nomination.

Winning motivations from the MBY jury:

“Quarken’s 27 T-Top is an object lesson in practical dayboat. It’s fun to drive, with a novice-friendly hull and an effective helm position with direct access to a ‘skipper’s cleat’ for single-handed work. And it looks cool too, with its sleek stepped hull, flared bow and contrasting tinted panels.

There’s also masses of storage on board and all of it is useable, thanks to sensible proportions, proper linings, dual access points and quick-lift one-handed cushions. But it’s the ease of movement that really hits home.

Even if you reverse the helm seats to integrate with the diners at the aft bench, you can still pass them freely on the starboard side. And when you reach the bow, whether the forward seats are rigged for dining or sunbathing, the step-through forepeak with offset anchor means you can still disembark without obstruction.

There’s no wet bar and the heads is an open-plan affair but if you want a proper open dayboat with a serviceable cuddy at a sensible price, this is a superb debut from Quarken.”

The entire team behind Quarken is thrilled over the award. It is by no means easy to make a market introduction today with so many great brands out on the global market. We had to work extremely hard to analyse the market, what needs customers have, what functionalities and solutions they wanted to have, and how we can differentiate from existing brands. Combining this information with the experience that our team had we managed to make a market introduction with the 27 range in the middle of the Covid years, with no boat shows or press events. New layout version available for the Quarken 27 Open & T-Top

The Version two (V2) is finally here for the Quarken 27 T-Top and Open models. The V2 models are characterized by social zones for lounging and with a capacity for comfortable seating for up to nine people. This is your multifunctional travel partner for different activities at sea and with the possibility to stay overnight and even cook onboard thanks to the outdoor wet bar. The 27 T-Top V2 is also available in the Onyx version, which is a real eye-catcher and offers the highest possible comfort that can be expected from a day boat in this size class.

The new modern aft deck layout that is introduced with the V2 is designed with all passengers in mind and with the possibility to enjoy life on the water without needing to drive to the harbour for lunch or the night. The helm offers seating for three persons on comfortable, rotating, and length adjustable seats that can be turned around to enjoy dinner around the aft cockpit table.

On the opposite side of the table, there is a comfortable aft sofa with a sliding backrest, giving the passengers the possibility to sit in both directions. Under the aft sofa, there is stowage room for cargo and fenders.

Quarken 27 T-Top V2 Onyx – a real showstopper

If you want to further enhance the looks and style of your Quarken 27 T-Top, you can do just that with the V2 Onyx package. The Onyx is a further upgrade to the V2 and offers ultra-cool looks and an eye-catching appearance wherever you decide to anchor for the day. The boat comes standard with a foiled hull in an elegant carbon fibre color and pattern scheme for a striking and sophisticated silhouette. All railings, water-ski pole, and the sturdy T-Top roof structure are black colored. The seats and cushions are upholstered in turquoise and white fabric and combined together with subtle decorative stitching.

Enter the helm and experience the sporty style and details that enrich the driving experience. The helm station panels are high gloss to give the helm a luxurious touch and feel. Standard on the boat is also twin Garmin 12” plotters with glass panel installation, Fusion audio with six speakers, wireless charging for the phone, and a 30-liter drawer fridge. The V2 Onyx is available with a suite of helpful features standard such as a bow thruster, automatic trim tabs, shore power and electric toilet to guarantee the best possible experience on the water.
